Welcome
to Cove's Edge Boxers and my Home "Grey Stone Farm"
which
is on 82 acres located in the beautiful state of Maine.
Grey
Stone Farm features a new home that was
designed
and moved into in 2008.
Also
designed and built was a new barn with 6 stalls, wash stall, tack room,
feed room and cameras for each stall. This enables viewing of the
horses from the house at all times.
A
real must for foaling!
The new arena will be built this spring/summer.
Grey
Stone Farm is home to 6 horses at the present time…..A stallion, AQHA Larks
Hot Potator (Tate), 2 AQHA geldings (Riley and Rugged Hour), an AQHA mare
(JAnnB), and 2 Paints (CR Hittermiss and her filly by Tate, Larks Certain
Charm). I enjoy showing the horses and the dogs. You can view
their accomplishments on their pages.
The
home is shared with 6 Boxers and an African Grey parrot.
I
grew up with horses and dogs. My favorite childhood memories include
the pony, horses and of course, my dogs. Great Danes, Newfoundlands,
mixed breeds, Shelties, Collies, Goldens, Poodles, and my beloved Boxers
shared the home. My Father was a dog lover and would often come home
with a dog that needed a home..….just as he had done as a child.
My love for animals is a part of my Dad.
My siblings and I own and operate a restaurant in Wiscasset, Maine.
Red’s
Eats was owned by my Dad for 31 years and has been in operation since 1938.
Red’s Eats has been featured on many television shows including Food Network,
CBS Sunday Morning, The Chronicle, even Nippon Television in Japan!
Red's Eats has been in numerous publications such as New York Times,
USA Today, even National Geographic. We are very proud of the
incredible food and enjoy working together. We have many laughs!
Cove’s
Edge Boxers began with a beautiful girl named Kelsey. "Kelsey (Boxpoints
Brief Encounter)" was bred to Ch. Foxwood’s O’Ryan Of Jaimax, who was bred
& owned by Irene Fox and Thomas Boardman. I will always be grateful
for Irene and Tom’s guidance and support. Kelsey and Ryan produced
a beautiful litter….my first show pups, Tessa & Trooper. I attended
many handling classes and Tessa became my first Champion, breeder/owner/
handled at 22 months of age. I have also enjoyed showing other people’s
Boxers as well as different breeds. These include Breed wins and
Group placements…. Mastiff, Weimaraner, Great Danes, Sharpeis, Smooth
Fox Terrier, Dobermans, Dalmations, Pointer, etc. I am proud of the
Champions that I have finished as well as Agility, Obedience and the therapy
work done at nursing homes. I truly enjoy showing and continue to
appreciate a beautiful, well bred, well trained dog or horse and the wonderful
friends I‘ve made along the way.
Thank
you for visiting and stay well!
